Drop a ball in the top and it fires about five seconds later - 10, 20 or 30 feet, whichever you set. Most dogs work out how to drop the ball back in themselves within a few sessions, and after that they can play without you.
Three launch distances - 10 ft, 20 ft or 30 ft at the press of a button. Short for an older or smaller dog, long for one that actually needs running.
Infrared safety cut-off - it will not fire while a person or pet is standing within about 6.5 ft in front of it.
About 5 hours per charge from three built-in 2200mAh batteries. USB-C, roughly 4 hours to charge, and the indicator turns red below 25 percent.
Six tennis balls included at 1.9 in - the size it is built for, so you are not hunting for balls that fit.
Shuts itself off after 30 minutes idle, so a dog that wanders off does not drain the battery.
9.8 x 10.6 x 8.3 in, 2.6 lbs - light enough to carry out to the yard or the park.
One ball at a time, and give your dog a break every 15-20 minutes - most of them will not stop on their own. It cannot launch while it is charging.
